In the past Video Games has been look down because it's causing addictive behaviors.
But what are the benefits of playing Video Games?
⭐ Leadership
- Being a leader is a tough one. There are certain genre of games that encourage you to become a leader and work with your teammates to achieve your group objectives.
⭐ Social Skills
- Interacting with other people makes your mood lighten and feel happier. People who played more video games were more likely to have social skills.
⭐ Creativity
- Playing video games makes you more creative because of the imagination and inspiration. For example in Minecraft a game that invites people to explore unique worlds and build imaginative creations.
⭐ Reduce Stress
- Playing video games has become key strategy for coping stress. It's easier to play video games because it's available in other platforms and at the same time you're having fun.
I experienced this 4 Benefits while playing video games.

Discord, Instagram, Facebook. YouTube (comments/videos) and Reddit.
I added some people to one of my favourite mobile games thanks to Reddit and YouTube.

Counter-Strike:Global Offensive, Call of Duty Modern Warefare, Deceit, Exploding Kittens, Minecraft..
There's tons of games that you can play and socialize. I don't know what type of games you want to play but I hope this helps..

I've made a good group of pc players through the mobile app Clash Royale. We were in a guild together, and one night like 5 of us just started talking, we learned we liked playing similar games, or atleast wanted to try it.
Ended up adding them on snap, then steam.

Most of my friends I made in game, on PC its a bit easier I'd say than on xbox or PS etc.
Discord LFG groups are good, facebook game specific pages are good, hell even twitch is a great way to meet like minded gamers.
