(Whats your set-up) New SSD, Whats the best security setup for windows? - soultech - Sep 27, 2020

So, got a new ssd, installed windows as got some windows software I want to run, obviously want to secure it.

This will be my daily driver.

Whats your idea of a secure setup? What antivirus? Using VMs, maybe linux instead, etc

Ive pondered a few things, but I overthink too much lol - I used to use virtualbox, no log vpn, bitdefender.
Didnt use VM as much as I could, my workflow is clay davis lol

I read of people using VM as daily driver because of snapshot, and some even said to use RDP/VPS (My bandwidth is not the fastest)

Wondering what everyone else is running for security set-up, and any advice?

Thanks guys :)
