what's your opinion on anime? - telly - Sep 28, 2020
people around me are usually indulged in it or they stay away from it. personally I do watch it but I can't binge more than 3 episodes without feeling unproductive.

I love anime, I watch dubbed rather than subbed though because I usually have it on the side while I'm doing something else.

I'm a pretty big fan, it's definitely not all I watch but I do watch a few episodes of some anime a day usually.

I have mixed thoughts. The hype around anime must mean it's incredible. I've tried a few but didn't really get into it enough to continue watching. I've watched the first season of Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood but eventually lost internet.
Can anybody give some recommendations? I want to watch one where the main character is an absolute UNIT

Watch Death Note if you want a solid anime full of suspense.
Darling in the Franxx if you want something dreamy/romantic.
My personal favorite is Mob Psycho, though.

Tried it once and I literally felt like a 10 year old, but the stories are indeed interesting. Not for me though.

Death Note is pretty good, never got to see many others, i think also saw the Alchemist one, can't really remember the name.

i really love the genre, my favourite being hxh the only form of media to ever almost make me cry.
the problem is i have too much shit going on and no motivation to watch, no matter how long the show i am going to watch it in a few days otherwise i will never return and lose interest.

yeah I don't really mind other people's opinions but I just wanted some good animes to watch, I heard Death Note is good. I'm watching Attack on Titan right now lol

hxh is top tier. Also I'm the exact same, if I don't finish something it will most likely never be finished.

I love anime. Pretty old for it actually but it helps keep the inner child alive and helps to stabilize my mood (unless important characters die).

I could never get into them mainly because back in the day it was pretty tough to find dubbed copies and I'm not a big fan of subtitles.
Most of my friends love them though and couple weeks ago my son wanted CruncyRoll subscription for Narauto lol. Guess I'm the odd ball

Slept on, anime is no different from cartoons, it's just better. People can sit and binge watch 25 1 hour long episodes of a series but will shun people for watching 20 25 minute long episodes of an anime.
Love me some Good anime, Bad anime is distasteful and I steer away from it of course.
