Any good beginner methods that are white hat? - gsoundz - Oct 8, 2020

Hello HF Members!

Looking for any good methods that'll produce some sort of weekly income that is simple and easy for a beginner hacker like myself. I am new to the online money-making community and am loving what I have seen so far and already have a few ideas up my sleeve but I'd love to hear some of y'alls ideas or any methods/ebooks that would be able to get me a nice little income! Of course as most methods I am willing to pay a charge for the use of it but will appreciate as much information about it before purchase as possible. I plan to do mainly white-hat however I may dip my feet into some grey-hat methods too. Thanks guys in advanced and I look forward to seeing all of your replies!

Personally I started off my bug bounty hunter work with really shallow attack surface mapping. No deep exploitation level needed (not to mention it's totally legal). It doesn't guarantee weekly income, but for sure at some point you'll get paid.

Tricks I used were
1. Google Dorks (Link to database of Google dorks here)
2. Directory fuzzing (try OWASP DirBuster: download link here)
3. Spidering (OWASP ZAP has a Spider module, and Burp version 1.71 has it too).

You ever encounter something "sensitive" like a config page or directory listing, that's what you report.

Well, if you have the basics, like OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities... Then start hacking on some bugbounties on hackerone or intigriti.
