Help me debug my "crypter". - oh9od - Oct 13, 2020 I've been working on my crypter for weeks now, relying on open-source code. There is one small problem: I can't seem to write the file (or the PE structure, idk) of the final result, being the pseudo-encrypted stub. I say "pseudo-encrypted", because I decided to test it without the encrypting part yet, trying to bind two files together and make the first one run the other, I don't really care about it being FUD or not right now. I always end up with the same result: "This app can't run on your pc.". ![]() Someone could please help me out debugging my code to see what am I doing wrong? The pseudo-crypter is coded in C++. I'm quite redundant on posting snippets of my code right now, but I'll try to explain what I am doing: Open and load in memory both stub and payload -> Create a ".scode" section inside the stub's executable -> Put the file's data inside the ".scode" section -> Close everything. If someone wants the source code to help me out, I will share it happily. Many thanks to everyone that comes to the rescue! Edit: The code snippet: https://pastebin.com/prikKi1z |
