I just got laid off from my construction job and I am desperate. The only huge skill I have is that I am good with English and good with writing essays (especially back in school and when I took college courses), and I want to utilize this skill to pay my rent and groceries before I go fugging homeless.

To have steady full time work for any of these you will probably have to have a good portfolio.

Yes, I get my employment insurance, but it isn't much and it won't last very long since I already went on EI earlier this year.
