Discord Impersonator - Deany - Nov 22, 2020 Yup, seems I have one. 1. I will never deal with anyone off-site. 2. Always use contracts. 3. Always confirm (via pm's) if you're talking to right person. 4. I will never contact anyone off-site to do a deal. 5. I don't even have a discord linked to my profile. Please be smart you guys. Thanks. Thread 666 ftw RE: Discord Impersonator - SIM-3257834 - Nov 22, 2020 Disgusting who'd want to impersonate a weeb? It's just some broke zoomer impersonating everyone with recent activity from CE threads from the pattern I see. RE: Discord Impersonator - Dorrance - Nov 22, 2020 Another broke boy tryna finesse life RE: Discord Impersonator - Driz - Nov 22, 2020 Yeh lol dude tried to scam me 15$. RE: Discord Impersonator - Blogger - Nov 23, 2020 This is the third one in two days. Someone's saving up for Christmas. lol RE: Discord Impersonator - Scoppa - Nov 23, 2020 Broke niggas will stay a broke niggas RE: Discord Impersonator - spiral - Nov 23, 2020 Idk why people don’t just use the postbit to confirm who they are talking to... Or PM RE: Discord Impersonator - Omniscient - Nov 23, 2020 I think most of the scamming is a small group of people maybe 2-3 even that constantly target HF members in various ways. They seem to be going down the list of recent/active contracts and hitting up those users. Really don't see why it is so hard to click trust scan if you are upgraded, and then if not, just click the little discord icon under each users post-- right next to convo. I think 100% of the imposter scamming could be avoided by one simple golden rule: Never send funds without an ACCEPTED contract with the user. I mean one can chat on discord about everything else all the time, doesn't take a big effort to just write sensitive things through convos. We all got lazy. RE: Discord Impersonator - Deany - Nov 25, 2020 I also noticed that whoever is doing this is trying to scam for bytes... Very strange |
