Are there any shady reasons people might be liking a Facebook page - The Pact - Nov 23, 2020 I have not been working on promoting some products online that I have even though I still continue to make a small bit of passive income from selling some products I put online long ago. I haven't really been promoting these products although I still have links on various social media platforms about the products which may be why a small number of people still buy products each month with me doing nothing. But I keep getting Facebook likes on the Facebook page associated with it all the time and the Facebook page even has a slightly different name from what's on the products now. It would be nice to think it's just people who did really like my creative content but I just wonder if there are some other shady reasons why people might be liking my page which I don't really promote. Sometimes no promotion is needed😎 If the products you sell online are of good quality and your customers are satisfied with your services, positive feedback will come to you regardless of whether you promote yourself or not💯 RE: Are there any shady reasons people might be liking a Facebook page - The Pact - Nov 23, 2020 Thank you very much. So maybe my Facebook likes are real. lol Maybe I'm not being self confident enough. I get suspicious every time I see 18 new likes and think I've done no work on this since last November. Wow literally a year. lol RE: Are there any shady reasons people might be liking a Facebook page - Michael - Nov 23, 2020 I have certain older pages too, and people sometimes still like them. Not really sure why this happens, but I guess people associate with them self with the page thus liking them. RE: Are there any shady reasons people might be liking a Facebook page - Neon™ - Nov 23, 2020 No OP, people get recommended pages based on what they've previously liked and they continue liking the new pages as well. It can also be that the titles of your Facebook pages are common among a certain niche and that's why people can easily find them by using organic search. I highly doubt that it's anything shady. RE: Are there any shady reasons people might be liking a Facebook page - The Pact - Nov 23, 2020 I don't think the title of the page would fit any niche but maybe I put some keywords in that are helping people find it. I don't even remember if Facebook business pages have keywords. I made it in 2012. I just wondered if people liked random pages to get something or other shady but it's nice if that's not true. Well there is a picture of a pretty female model on the page and since 2012 I've had only a couple of idiots message me thinking the picture was of me but that's all only a couple of people doing that in 8 years. And plenty of female names liking the page not just male names but a lot of foreign names but then the stuff I put on social media for free to promote them was targeted at the whole world. Does your product carter to the female demographic? RE: Are there any shady reasons people might be liking a Facebook page - Mr. Atlas - Nov 24, 2020 interesting content, published regularly? I know everyone is repeating this but .... it's true ^^ ' Or do something extraordinary that will go viral RE: Are there any shady reasons people might be liking a Facebook page - shakur123 - Nov 24, 2020 If you dont mind me asking, what is the product?? RE: Are there any shady reasons people might be liking a Facebook page - Vibe - Nov 24, 2020 Maybe it’s just coming up when someone searches a keyword and they just click like. I’m not sure what bad thing they could hope to achieve by liking a page. Maybe they are hoping you like their page back or they are just trying to o make their profile seem real and have interest related to whatever they are using the account for. RE: Are there any shady reasons people might be liking a Facebook page - A + - Nov 24, 2020 Some people might be wanting to advertise their product, and since your page is already targeted traffic they'll just do it there. |
