Is there a way to invoke this with batch or vbscript? - VEESZAC - Nov 25, 2020 I have a program I need to keep open for work, problem is after 45 minutes the program closes its self if not invoked by the user. It's a virtual desktop, with a login screen that resembles windows, to keep it from logging out all I have to do is open the program and click in the "password" text field box a few times, to basically let the program think I'm invoking it so it won't close. Is there anyway with batch or vbscript that I can set to automatically interact with this program in the background? I know it's a super miniscule task for me to perform, but I'm trying to automate as much of my workday as I can, and I can't seem to find a straight forward answer on google. RE: Is there a way to invoke this with batch or vbscript? - Harley Quinn - Nov 25, 2020 There is no setting to stop sleep? What program is it? Or is it internal system? It's a virtual desktop through my Company, unfortunately there is no way to disable sleep. IT won't change it to save resources if someone forgets to logout or close it. RE: Is there a way to invoke this with batch or vbscript? - Harley Quinn - Nov 25, 2020 Oh i see! Could you literally just write a script to run and do absolutely nothing and schedule it for every 30 mins? Yea basically I was trying to find a way to write a script and just click in the textbox in the background as if I were doing it. |
