My real hacking was done almost 40 years ago, when I snooped around DoD servers back in the early 1980s - yes I am old. I never damaged or stole any data, was just surprised how easy it was to log on, as there was basically no security measures then LOL, well, it was a different era.
The real hacking back then was writing code to crack Zork and other games on the 5 1/4" floppy disks, or for those with real talent - to copy the games from cartridges for the Atari computers/Colecovision onto floppies and play them using rudimentary emulators on the pcs of the day, good times...
BBS' and the like...that's bulletin board systems for you kids...
Back then, all we had were TI-994As/commodore 64s/Vic-20s and a 1200-baud modem, the internet did not exist except for the govt and twits like Zuckerberg weren't even born yet. Things were a lot simpler then.
Well, I joined as my skills are a bit out of date as you can see, and I am seeking help to deal with some spamming lowlifes, probably operating in India.

Thank you all for the welcome, much appreciated.
If anything I was hoping someone could wipe the sites I listed in my thread in the beginner forum off the earth, or train me how to do it ;)
I am sure those are spamming thousands of others and while I might not win a Nobel prize if I were to help rid the world of them, I am sure many people would be grateful.
