How you act when someone owes you money - Speed Test - Dec 16, 2020 REAL situation. Not talking about friends&family Other people, businesses, etc.. What you do if a business owes you 1700€ ? I want to hear your opinions. Don’t advice me, just write me what you will do if it’s happens to you RE: How you act when someone owes you money - RIP Juice WRLD - Dec 16, 2020 I do everything legally possible, and don't care if I take too much of a loss - it's all about making (?) an example. What is the farthest legal way you can go? RE: How you act when someone owes you money - Juoku - Dec 16, 2020 (Dec 16, 2020 01:32 PM)Speed Test Wrote: REAL situation. I'll tell you what I literally did for 600$. I had a flight booked (important note, this thing was before covid). So I got a message that the flight was cancelled and they gave me an alternative, another flight one day sooner, me, a man with a job, I couldn't change my whole schedule because they think that a different day is a proper alternative, anyways I called them to get the refund and it said up to 2 months and I'll see my money back in my account. 2 months later, I didn't get my money so I called them, everyday, every hour to see where's my money, talking to them for 40 mins or so each time, literally EVERY hour until they finally issued a refund which proved to me they lied, they tried to get me to forget all about it and keep my money because when I got the notice of the refund it literally said on the page that the request was sent that specific day and two days afterwards I got my money back (I still called them tho until I saw it on my bank statement) That's what I do, I'll harress the shit out of them until they give up, if that company wasn't located abroad I would've went down there every day instead of calling... RE: How you act when someone owes you money - Deany - Dec 16, 2020 Idk man someone owed me $70 and I was flipping out about it RE: How you act when someone owes you money - Speed Test - Dec 16, 2020 (Dec 16, 2020 02:07 PM)Juoku Wrote: I'll tell you what I literally did for 600$. Brother you talk about company Good idea anyway You ever had this kind of thing with small business? RE: How you act when someone owes you money - Forensic - Dec 16, 2020 I spent 6 days arguing with ubereats over a $9 order where the guy said I didn't answer so they said no refund. Eventually they gave me a refund but not after telling me they can break their rules to give me one 100 times. RE: How you act when someone owes you money - Blogger - Dec 16, 2020 I used to let it go but now I go the legal route. But I don't treat them any different unless they "forget" to pay me. You need to be persistent and go there every day and let them know you ain't going nowhere before you get your money, if you got evidence of them owing you the money and they keep giving you a hard time feel free to use a lawyer and add his fee to the amount due, make them know you're serious. Lawyer is the best option I think Hope it will worth the 1700€ they owes me.. It’s really bothers me... mostly in night RE: How you act when someone owes you money - Loved - Dec 16, 2020 (Dec 16, 2020 03:26 PM)Speed Test Wrote: Lawyer is the best option I think Hey brother It's always upsetting to incur these kinds of losses but life goes on, keep your head up! You can look into legal action but this might cost more than the $1700 itself. RE: How you act when someone owes you money - Mr. Atlas - Dec 16, 2020 It depends on who knows and why he owes me money and the amount of money, a lot of parameters to take into account RE: How you act when someone owes you money - Speed Test - Dec 16, 2020 (Dec 16, 2020 03:45 PM)Loved Wrote: Hey brother It's always upsetting to incur these kinds of losses but life goes on, keep your head up! I am not going to give up.. he knows he owes me money but keep saying the “tomorrow” excuse. He want to “check” with me on how much exactly he owes because he think he owes me less. I am really freaked out I will take a lawyer if this thing is not sort out in 2 weeks maximum. He will probably get a notice from my lawyer RE: How you act when someone owes you money - Cooligan - Dec 16, 2020 I don't act, they do; when they commit the act of paying me my damn money back. I'd suggest sending him a final warning message that clearly states that you're looking to take legal action if the issue isn't resolved immediately. Hopefully that will get him out of his seat. It would be ideal to get your $$ back before taking the legal route. |
