Executable for testing crypter - Tafelpoot - Dec 23, 2020 What are some executables you use when developing/testing your crypters? I assume executables have to be malicious, but rather unsure about this one. Since the specific execution of the payload is done regardless of the payloads type e.g. malicious or not. RE: Executable for testing crypter - 【BADMAN】 - Dec 23, 2020 Usually you want to test it with different products for compatibility checks. RE: Executable for testing crypter - Tafelpoot - Dec 23, 2020 I am not particularly worried about compatibility atm. since I don't even support .net. But rather with the runtime/emulation of AV's. It is quite common that after the crypter has done its job the malware gets detected by an AV and subsequently the crypter gets tagged as malicious. This is sometimes due to bad malware/old malware. Just wondering what other people are testing with. |
