[TuT]Directly move the torrent to your Google Drive - Jinu - Jan 14, 2021 Directly move the torrent to your Google Drive
![]() Hello, guys. I am not sure whether this method was posted before or not. Since it was beneficial to me to download the files easily, I planned to post here. What literally you can do is, you can remote download any torrents to your google drives using Google Colab. What is the use of this Method?
Requirements: 1. Internet. 2. A Google account. 3. Some basic knowledge. Prerequisite: 1. Create a new Google account. Do not use your primary account. If you have GDrive that linked with any .edu email, that is much better. Because you can even store very huge files. Method Step: 1 Downloading the .torrent file. Download the .torrent file you wish to download. Or you can use the magnet link. Since my ISP blocks torrenting, I used a VPN to download the torrent file. In my case, I want to download "The Dude Perfect Show" So I downloaded the .torrent file into my PC first. Step: 2 Opening the Collab Now go to the following Collab Link: https://colab.research.google.com/github/FKLC/Torrent-To-Google-Drive-Downloader/blob/master/Torrent_To_Google_Drive_Downloader.ipynb Step: 3 Linking the Account After opening the Colab, the first thing you should do is, selecting the proper account on the top right corner. Click on the logo and select the newly created account or your unlimited drive account or any dummy account. ![]() Step: 4 Starting the Machine Once you selected the account, click "Connect" on the top right. ![]() Step: 5 Mounting Google Drive Once connected, you are good to start. First, go to the mount Google drive section and click the play button symbol on the left side. ![]() step: 6 Authenticating Account Once the code started running, It will show you the Google account link and an authorization code box. Click the link, then choose the account and click allow. Now it will show you the code. Click the copy icon from there and paste it in the box. Click enter. Once your drive is mounted, It will show you as "Drive mounted Successfully." ![]() ![]() Step: 7 Installing Torrent lib Once authenticated the account, you may see your drive folders on the left tab. Now move to another section, "Install libtorrent and initialization session." Run the play button. It will install the torrent lib. ![]() Step: 8 Uploading the .torrent file. Here, you have two sections, firstly you can add the torrent file itself. Secondly, you can use the magnet link. You can choose whichever option is suitable for you. In my case, I have chosen the first option that is uploading the .torrent file from PC. ![]() Option #1 Click Choose files, select the .torrent file and upload. ![]() Step: 9 Downloading the torrent to your Google Drive Now move to the "Start Download" section and run the play button. It will now download your file. You can see the progress of the download speed and the percentage in that section. ![]() Once the download complete, you will see the information that the download complete. ![]() Now you can access the files in your Google Drive at Torrent folder. ![]() If you have any questions, feel free to comment below. I will try to help you. ![]() This tutorial is brought to you by the great group called Lions League.
