This is a conversation I love to have with people, usually durring and/or after a psychedelic experience/trip. When im not at work we should have a conversation on this topic that way i have more time to actually discuss it.

I do believe we live in some kind of simulation or reality that is manipulatable if done right and according to the laws or rules.

I do think it's a really interesting and valid concept and hypothesis, but it troubles me that just like any religion it can explain almost anything that causes confusion with a blanket of "we just don't understand it yet" or "it's part of the plan". Like you can question the simulation theory with "why do I feel if it's not real" and answer it with "because it's a part of the simulation" and that can answer most things in a generalising way. I don't know, maybe I oversimplify it in my mind, but it's one of those things that always bothers me about it. I mean, I still enjoy debating it but it's an unwinnable argument in my mind.

I hope all of you guys approach this topic with a healthy mind because last person I knew who talked about "the simulation hypothesis" killed themselves. For me personally it's a very interesting topic, but I don't really try to dig deeper into this subject cuz in the end it's only questions without clear answers.

YES! I have always said this is what's happening to us. The whole space thing is just a prime example of how we would be in a sim. WHY are there "zero" planets with other humans/beings around us?

Personally I don’t believe we’re currently in one but it may just be a false sense of hope so I don’t overthink it lmao.
However, possibilities are endless when it comes to technology.

Mhm not sure we can say there are zero planets. We barely know anything about other planets, not even talking about other galaxies.

I posted a reply to a thread on here yesterday regarding this - it's my view on the simulation theory, and it just makes sense. Some people can't handle it and I can understand why. We don't like not being able to comprehend the unknown.

Imagine if multiple civilizations inside a simulation created their own simulations and so on, if one day it just tripped the power source. Elon thinks we are. He said if he could ask a super smart AI one question, he would ask it what's outside the simulation.
