Anyway to make sure PayPal guest checkout doesn't force to make PayPal account? - OfficialPong - Feb 14, 2021
I am trying to make sure with my store that PayPal guest checkout allows you to use a debit card or credit card without logging in. PayPal has implemented this feature for that, but when you try to do so, it forces you to make a PayPal account anyways. Anyway to fix this?

There should be a way to checkout without making an account and only using an email and card. Guest checkout does not require an account

You just have to click don’t sign up or something, it’s a default setting you shouldn’t have to change anything

As you can see when I do this, it forces you to make an account for some reason, any idea why?

Not sure why its saying that. Try checking out on a different device or browser

Getting the same thing, do you think it might have to with my IP, would a VPN help, I'm just really confused why no one else has ever had this problem

You could try a VPN, but it really wouldnt change anything. Try a different browser or device because it sounds like it isnt loading properly

I did, I tried using my phone, I guess I could try another computer, but I had my friend try and it gave him the same thing

Paypal recognizes the device, tried changing proxies, bought elite ones. Nothing helps, tell me what exactly does paypal recognize?

If you already used a Paypal account on the browser, this often happens. Just delete cookies (I'm slightly discouraging from that because it triggers the security algorithm once you try to log in to your account again) or try again in incognito mode, then you should be able to select card-payment only.
Other than that, this "pay without account" feature is removed/deactivated bcountrieby paypal in some (mostly EU) countries, if the seller comes from there.
