My Thread: MFC Tokens for cheap
He PM'd me and said that he had what I wanted, we agreed on $100 for 4400 tokens.
He said he would slowly start sending the tokens in 3 hours, but 7 hours went by with nothing.
After 7 hours went by I assumed I was scammed, so I decided to try and be nice still and just remind him to send if he can.
But then I had an idea, that if I made it seem like I have more money for him in the future he would send the tokens or at least reply to me.
He replied to me saying the person spent allllllllll of the tokens, but that he has another account with even MORE tokens and I could have all of them if I sent another $100 to the same Paypal, WHY CANT HE JUST SEND THE 4400 TOKENS FROM THAT ACCOUNT??
I asked for Refund and then he left.

No, sadly I did not :(
Lesson learned though, I will always use a contract for any deal on this site from now on.
Just really sucks that he can just scam $100 clear as day and continue to browse the site and potentially scam other people.
I would have felt a little better had there been some kind of negative action taken against him.
But I suppose the error lays with me not using a contract.

Ah man I think you may have broken a rule by trading on HF without using a contract. Don't quote me on this, I'll research it now but.
Either way, I'm sorry to hear what happened and I hope it gets resolved especially Turrach being a UB3R member of the forums.

Oh, well crap.
I hope the punishment for breaking the rule isn't too bad, I think trading without contract cost me enough already lol.
He has 2 open disputes against him on some contracts already.
I only hope someone that wants to deal with him does a quick search on his name and finds this thread.
They can weigh the risk/reward with dealing with a scammer with their personal judgement.
If I can help even just 1 person not get scammed I think that would make me feel a little better.

Your account is subject to closure if you do not use a contract. Posting this alert without a contract is practically asking for it, though I get you want this scammer to be banned, this won't accomplish that.

All I can say is I'll use a contract from now on as I've learned my lesson.

THE RULER is correct it's under Rule 3 in Marketplace Policies.
3. You are REQUIRED to use the Contracts system for any and all trades made on Hack Forums.
