Narrative - .Infinity. - Feb 25, 2021

Everything is narrative. Stocks, crypto, collectibles, countries at war, everything you can imagine. It all boils down to public perception and how the media is able to control the impression the masses have of whatever they're writing about. It's long been the case before the age of the internet, but now more than ever we see it across the board in everyday mediums of entertainment and news.

Particularly I want to point out the shift that's occurred over the last 5 years in crypto. JP Morgan specifically bashed Bitcoin for years, saying it was a bubble, a ponzi, a joke, whatever they could do to put a negative spin on the very idea of investing in crypto.

Fast forward to today. They're now saying "Investors could put up to 1% of their portfolio into Bitcoin and crypto."

I've been saying this, quite literally, since 2016. Any time I spoke to friends or family about crypto I've used this exact narrative to explain to them what the future will hold. I said specifically that one day, sometime in the near future, you'll walk into your bank, or your wealth management office, or call your financial advisor on the phone. And the day will come where they recommend you put 1% or more into crypto as an alternative high risk high reward investment.

Finally, in 2021, the mainstream narrative has begun to push this idea. JP Morgan coming out with this statement is just the beginning of the narrative change. Closely monitor the news and headlines from here on out and you will see the narrative change just as I do.

Honestly, I've been a very successful crypto investor, and it was never done on TA. It was always done on intuition and feel for the narrative change in the market. When sentiment shifted from complacent to happy, or from happy to terrified, I've focused on the general story the world is trying to tell us.

You want a story? Here it is. All central banks are actively pursuing digital currencies. All major corporations are considering BTC as a portion of their cash balance sheet. All banks will soon offer clients the ability to purchase a managed fund, which of course, they receive annual fees on just like everything else they sell you.

The narrative has shifted, permanently, inescapably, and we are never turning back despite any bumps in the road.

I see a bull March ahead.
Pun intended.

RE: Narrative - Bitcoin Buddha - Feb 26, 2021

I agree with your point of view. What we're seeing now with mining pools dumping etc BTC still holding on strong just proves to me that this is time to HODL. we're in for a bull run :)

Yep, effects may not be realized immediately. But I have been saying this for a while, banks will end up shoving crypto down the throats of normies.
