Decentraland and Mana - Omniscient - Mar 8, 2021
I keep reading the name Decentraland on social media and news. Because of context I figured it was a virtual world based on crypto. The token is MANA. Basically part of the NFT space. Today I decided to finally take a look at the buzz.

Already it's supported by a plethora of markets like Kraken, Binance, Crypto.com, and even Coinbase Pro. So that's damn impressive.
I don't think I saw a thread on this yet. Figured I would open the discussion. Anyone into this? I did grab some tokens today to test it out. I can't say if this is a good investment or excellent technology.

I'm a long time supporter of MANA and my love towards this token started around the daytrading communities because MANA was one of the best AB trading tokens. If you trade it for long enough, even now during the bull run you can easily make profit from it. Apart from that I liked the whole idea behind the project and have never seen anything bad about it since 2017.

They held lots of events/quests when they launched this time last year which were pretty fun, you could find loot crates that contained NFT's and tokens (some of which being really limited). I don't think there's anything like that going on at the moment but I'm sure there will be in the future. Still have 50 MANA and 125 MATIC from some of the crates. Also got some cryptokitties and wearables from them - who doesn't like free shit? :D
I also really like how there's a whole market for DCL usernames, that can be unbound from your avatar and sold separately.

If NFT keeps doing well, I can see MANA reaching $2 easily, feels like its following ENJ path, I bought some mana in January and made me good profits, then sold but bought again a smaller bag, I will hold for the next 3 months.

I've been seeing some people create very cool HQs and general purpose areas. Some are games, some are literal crypto businesses with offices and gallery spaces. Tons of gallery spaces, so expect that to continue into the future with the current NFT boom. Cryptovoxels is another virtual space that is often used as NFT galleries.
Lots of room for growth in this space. I laughed at the concept of digital land when I first heard about decentraland years ago, really wish I had dug deeper then. The Atari news is super bullish.
