For host I would say, Nmap. (scan for open ports and services)
For web applications, Burp suite pro. (scan for vulnerabilities and manual tinkering)

Vulnerability scanners for websites are usually trash.
Do your own research and scan the website yourself, manually.
Hacking ain't about clicking buttons in a scanner.
