Hey,
long story short, this is pretty frustrating when I edit my threads and I hope it will be fixed ASAP. It's there for a while, but didn't care enough yet to post about it. Here it is.
Create a list.
Spoiler (Click to View)
- this is
- a list
- right?
Now create a list inside the list, so it will be a multidimensional list.

- a list
- but multidimensional
- but multidimensional
- right?
Now if you post it like this, you are gucci. However, once you edit the post (or if you have pressed preview before posting), you will have a f*cked up list, with an empty list element put to your nth list's top.
Like this:

- this is
- a list
- but multidimensional
- but multidimensional
- right?
And if you save it like this, on the next preview/edit it'll be even more effed up as it'll throw ENTERs after the first, empty list element.
Can we fix it, please?
Edit: the fact I've accidentally messed up the second, good example because I previewed the post before posting, makes me wanna hang myself. Fixed.

The MyBB list tags are very bad. The only solution would be to eliminate them and consider an alternative mycode. Usually though members are using the tags poorly with other mycode like align, color, and size.

Just so my thread gets answered: it will not be fixed, ever OR it can be put on a To-Do list somewhere? It can be pretty annoying, especially if you have a thread with lots of lists (10-20+) and once you click on "Edit", it's messed up.
I understand that it is not a priority, though, just want to know if it's ever going to be fixed.

Repasting lists on Edit is not a fix. Not previewing my thread is not a fix either. I'm looking for a solution here. I don't want to repaste every single list in a thread that has over 20 lists every time I press on Preview or Edit if it's not absolutely necessary... and even then, it's a terribly annoying thing.

We're not going to fix this. You can adjust your posts accordingly to have better use of mycode.

I used to use complex layouts using lists but now the parser shits itself when you go 2 deep.

Fixed. CTRL + F5 on the Full Edit page to clear your cache and fetch the latest files from HF.

Yeah that MyBB update in June apparently worked. Thanks OP for bringing this up because for years it's been an issue and I've simply accepted it.
Fixed now and that's great.
