Recent HF Userbars - Fortunate - Apr 30, 2021

Here's some of my recent HF userbars. I can see massive improvements that can be done to my work but I feel like I am already improving a lot.
My biggest challenge as of right now is preserving the image quality and maintaining a 25kb size limit with animations, without the fear of losing quality.
I feel like the problem is with my methods of doing the animation, I should directly move to animating in photoshop so I wouldn't lose quality. You can see heavy quality loss in the userbars and it has limited the amount of detail and other factors.


Heresy

- Simple userbar and met the clients requirements. If I were to rework this now I'd fix some lighting "issues".

Celestial

- Love how it turned out but again, I had problems with maintaining quality. The 50kb version looks amazing.

Code

- Really had fun making this one, coming up with something code related was difficult.

Mutiny

- Had problems with the animation in this one, never done anything like this and flames do take a lot of space. Give me more kilobytes and double the framerate.

The Heresy one is sexy af.
For Mutiny, I think it would look much nicer if the animation didn't end on those edges and expanded a tiny bit over the userbar itself. Again nice job as always!

The Celestial is the type I want to see quite often, such a good one, nice :)

I love how clean the Heresy userbar is. Yeah, the mutiny userbar would need to be worked on a little, but after many versions I landed on this one. It looks laggy and could definitely be better.

You've done a really good job, it would've been nice to see some older ones as in the thread you said you believe yourself have improved over time. Overall it's very impressive, and as a client I would be satisfied with any of those images despite some of the quality distortion that you can see if you know where to look - too hard on yourself, as there is really not much you can do with the quality export by the sounds of it.
