I just am asking, I grew up with a kid that’s now a cop… We used to do the damndest of things together but haven’t hung out in years.

Yep. I just moved into an apartment complex with 17 apartments. Literally half of them are cops. Before I moved, I made friends with several of them. Small towns, man. It happens a lot.

I did. Saved me from a ticket one day. Then we smoked weed the other day while he was off. I made a joking comment about him being a cop guess he took it personally and turned on me.

Yea, my buddy was a correction officer in the jail I got locked up in and I watched him walk out after getting fired. We still talk.

Yeah, was on a bus when I was younger, chatting to some dude on the bus. Added each other on socials.
He was a gay cop that had been hitting on me for 45 minutes and my dumb ass didn't clock it.

Vibes. I feel you. I hadn’t talked to this guy in years. I came across him again recently and sure enough he is a cop now. Him and I used to do the craziest of shit lol it’s hard to believe!

When I was on my High School days I used to go with my cousins on the City Hall where he works on CIDG department so lots of cops are being so friendly but now some are gone :D

Yes, not that big of a deal. And they're not "out to bust everyone" either. Plenty of social gatherings where there is casual drug use and cops present, without a care in the world. They don't partake or get involved, but they aren't on duty as a cop either.

I moved half way across the country and met a cop that was from the same city I was. We used to hang out at the gym and that sort of thing.

Yup. They are hard to come by anymore, to me that’s old fashioned but the way it should be… If people want to do drugs let them, let them killz themselves.. Why should cops “save them” from that shit, most just end up going back to whatever they were doing anyway once released.
