Hello HF...
I come today with a Problem I've had for awhile...
I originally bought my current Ps3 about 2 years ago, and last year I decided to Mod it with Custom Firmware.
Now...
As I would learn later, I got PSN Banned which meant no playing online Games or even using apps like YouTube.
I later bought a New Ps3 Console ID # from eBay for about $10, in order to use it you need to Mod your Ps3 and then Spoof your Hardware Information.
Once again I got PSN Banned about 3 months later for having a Modded Ps3.
I plan on buying another Ps3 Console ID # on eBay for $12, but my question is:
If I Spoof the Address and then UnMod the Ps3, would I keep my Spoofed Address or revert back to my Original Address?

Dumb question here, do you mod it to install a homebrew and download games? or why do you decide to mess with it?

Yeah, I modded it for CFW so I could download free games and got banned from PSN
Once banned you can't use the internet at all, not even for YouTube or Netflix...
I later learned that if I remodded my Ps3 (The same way), one of the Firmware Add On's let's you Spoof your Ps3 ID to a different ID...
I did that and as far as I remember I didn't download games this time, but 3 months later got banned from that account too...
I'm pretty sure the only way to turn my Ps3 into a 'Fresh' Ps3 is by buying the code on eBay and Spoofing the address on CFW, but I don't know if I can go back to Official Firmware with the new Ps3 Address

You can indeed flash another CID to your console and install OFW, keeping that flashed CID as your new
Keep in mind a lot of people that sell these CIDs are probably reselling them off again hence your ban later on down the line
Find yourself a cheap ASF console, buy an E3 flasher, dump the NAND/NOR and get a CID yourself for permanent use
Also just to note there are homebrew/third party apps for YouTube and Netflix that will work even if banned
Been years and years since I was in that scene but google nextgenupdate and check their shit
