you can use ssh clients on Windows like, PuTTY, mRemtoeNG.

Chrome remote desktop is a thing as well. You can give that a try. Works pretty well for me.

I think, TeamViewer is better choice, because it is a popular remote access software that allows you to connect to your home PC from anywhere. You will need to install TeamViewer on both your home and work computers, and then you can use it to establish a remote connection.
