RE: Worst rejection experience - GruntStyl - Jun 28, 2021 I went on a date with a girl (This would have been our 3rd or 4th date) we were talking for about a month and a half. Texting daily. Went to Olive Garden for dinner. She had got up to use the rest room but (Believe it or not) Left her phone on the table face up with it unlocked and on her messages. I noticed a text come through with the heart eye emoji thing. So like I glanced over and I did click on the name (So maybe shame on me, But I don't regret it) and from what I had seen it was her ex that she was talking so poorly about for weeks to me and they were chatting up (Some of it sexually/dates/etc).. So I ordered an extra plate of Chicken Scampi (To increase the bill) and then told her I had to use the rest room when she came back.. I walked up to the guy that greets you at the computer/counter and told him what happened and said I was leaving and to not tell her I left. He said "No Problem man, take care" Shook my hand, I slipped him a $20 and I left lmao... Never spoke to her again. Not sure how she got back as she was a good hour and 10 minutes away from home. I'm assuming she realized what happened though with me finding out as we had a few mutual friends and word got around. My friends and I joke about it to this day. Funny to look back on now. Sounds like you saved yourself a lot of trouble down the line, honestly RE: Worst rejection experience - AiDenti - Jun 28, 2021 OOOF. I had a date where we started out friendly, by the middle we were acting like we would get married, by the end she slammed the car door in my face. Wild ride. Another date we both showed up at the tea place, her "mom called" and said she got fired and needed help moving out of her office. And another one, we had a normal dinner date. I suggested we see a movie. When it came time to get in my car and drive over, she "got a call" from her mom that said she needed to go home and she basically ran off. What is it about me that makes girls use the mom excuse lol RE: Worst rejection experience - Makaveli The Don - Jun 28, 2021 I reject everyone equally so I rarely get rejected. I just don't put myself in that situation to begin with. It can lead to an end. Like for example, couple nights ago I was rejected by a girl and on the same night she was in my bed. If you get rejected many times (or always) then you should consider changing your approach. This goes for anything in life.
