As much as I love older anime I have to agree. The quality of modern anime is much better overall.

that depends, I find anything 2007-2021 still good, imo all the best anime is 2015-2019. 2017 was a good year.

If we’re speaking overall then I guess yes you are right. But the top 5 animes of all time would mainly have older animes imo.
But I really dislike this trend of 12-13 episodes per year which most newer animes tend to adapt.

Depends on the anime. There's a lot more trash out there now than ever before but there's also more good shit than ever before as well.
Classics like Inuyasha, Cowboy Bebop, Full Metal Alchemist, all the shit that used to play on Toonami before it went off the air (yes I know they rebooted it). Those animes still hold up very well today.

It's more accessible for a younger audience for sure. Quick cuts, digestible narratives, etc. Prefer older but you have to pay attention to it, which sometimes you don't want to do.

In what way is something like Black Clover better than Yu Yu Hakusho? How about compared to Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Galactic Heroes, NGE? What are you considering as "new" and "old" in the first place?

I feel like some people immediately judge older anime on the visuals alone, especially people who are new to anime. At least that how it is with a lot of my friends.
There are some great anime every now and then when it comes to new anime but then again, it's all personal preference.
