Shopify - Scraping stores data with Python - indiehu - Aug 1, 2021
Hey all,
There is a chrome extension that shows live sales of websites that are built on the shopify ip. (Its called alihunter.io)
Using this extension you can go to a shopify store like gymshark, and Every minute they get a sale it shows on the extension.
Need help scraping this information to see competitors sales data, exactly as this extension does, I just didnt understand where they got their data from, any of you see how?

Alihunter.io is an estimation - you cannot see live sales of Shopify stores you don't own.

I dont know if they written on their website that it's an estimation, but I checked their data its pretty accurate anytime this shopify made a sale it showed on alihunter

Simply not possible unless they have a plugin that many stores uses and have access to order data.

This is the only way. What you’re seeing is probably an estimate based on how many reviews are posted or if they have a plug-in that shows when X bought it.
