Until then, you'll probably have to resort to the lounge. I think you'll get more responses on a post about a book in the lounge than in a separate book section.

We have a hacking section for e-books/books already https://hackforums.net/forumdisplay.php?fid=223 and a money section as well Free Money Making Ebooks
I think the sections are structured fine as they are now, nice and organized. If it is just a place for books you read in general, don't see it happening. Just not enough activity.
Going by your suggestion, we would have to remove those sections above and just dump them all into one section your proposing to avoid duplicate section confusion. It would just look messy with different topics in there imo. Goodluck though.
