Is Dyncheck broken / outdated? - zxPhantomBlade - Aug 10, 2021
Alright so I was working on a private crypt and this is the scan result https://dyncheck.com/scan/id/7e0f762e81f8861954f9b1c1eab2ab64.
However when I try to run the file defender still flags it. I have no clue whats wrong. Is dyncheck outdated?

run it on a newly made VM it wont be flagged then

because on dyncheck it won't check with cloud detection, just normal signature detection and defender is known to be a retard and flag new files even if they pose no threat, especially after doing many tests which seems to be putting it in some sort of paranoid mode.
Same file can be clean and detected at the same time if you test them on different computers.

Your Dyncheck settings have internet settings set to blocked meaning it wont connect to the WD cloud.
To answer your question, no dyncheck isn't broken. The settings you chose match up with the results.
Make a VM run the file with internet off you should get same results as dyn.
