I'm depressed. - Livewire - Oct 3, 2021 I wrote a long thread but no one replied so honestly to cut it short - I just wanted someone to know I really don't like living. If I'm going to feel like this, both mentally and physically I'd prefer to pass away. Every day is a struggle. Im only existing now. Just go to a doctor and get some pills it will make you feel better and maybe you will see things differently after getting proper medication. RE: I'm depressed. - wiz - Oct 3, 2021 Hey, I posted something similar and I am having a hard time. Seek help, figure out something to use your time. I know you may have no motivation, but find something you enjoy doing. For me, it's learning programming. Life is a rollercoaster, sometimes exciting, scary, and sometimes it makes you sick to your stomach. Seek help my friend. RE: I'm depressed. - Maxorg - Oct 3, 2021 Do you know what triggers this feeling for you mate? I would suggest calling one of the hotlines provided. They would be able to direct you. RE: I'm depressed. - Grammar Rays - Oct 3, 2021 I read your original thread. I saw a lot of my own thought pattern in there. I didn't want to comment though because I wasn't sure how to comment. RE: I'm depressed. - Eran - Oct 3, 2021 I'm sorry you feel this way. I didn't see your other thread. I had my long period of depression and self-harm several years ago. I still have waves of 'depression' (if you can call it like that). It was a long journey of self-reflection and finding out what I really want from life, my passions, dreams etc. It may sound cheesy and I am 100% sure you have heard this from everyone you've seeked advice from, but you should really start with something that involves you being active or gets your brain going. Running with your favorite music blasting on headphones when you're feeling like absolute sh!t over and over, day after day, really does get you out of the lump. I also found smoking weed to reduce my anxiety and increase my productivity and creativity (this is obviously not for everyone, just sharing my story). I found passion for music festivals, and just having something amazing to look forward to is really worth it and keeps me going. Hit me up if you want to talk :) RE: I'm depressed. - Livewire - Oct 3, 2021 (Oct 3, 2021 06:38 AM)Tor Wrote: Probably you just need medical attention man. My antidepressants aren't working and I'm so tired of trying to solve it medically. The hospital I was in didn't find a problem with my oxygen but I feel like I can't breathe every day. That with anxiety and depression is killing me I honestly am open to help, but Ive tried getting help a lot and I'm exhausted. Id rather just lay in bed so I don't have to use a lot of oxygen. I am so scared to be really active because I can't get air in. I barely get by at work. But if he has no other option then yes. Personally man, we've all been there, you need to force yourself to go out and do things, find hobbies, stuff you enjoy, get outside, workout/excerise force your body to make the happy chemical. Alot of it is perspective if you look at life, work, everything negatively then it will effect your mood, try thinking of how you can be the best you that you can be, i know it sounds corny, but if you try to improve yourself every day then the rest comes with it. Improve your life at work, at home. Wether thats getting a new job or changing things at where you are now, or maybe pick up some fun hobbies, go on hikes, avoid alcohol cause that will make how you feel worse, and if you need to talk don't be shy to message me or even neiqhtworks. My DM is always open. RE: I'm depressed. - Livewire - Oct 3, 2021 (Oct 3, 2021 06:39 AM)wiz Wrote: Hey, I posted something similar and I am having a hard time. I don't know where to start. Do you have friends and family you can speak to? Mental health can have all kinds of physical implications. I was having nose bleeds and panic attacks because of my mental health issues for e.g. RE: I'm depressed. - Livewire - Oct 3, 2021 (Oct 3, 2021 06:39 AM)wiz Wrote: Hey, I posted something similar and I am having a hard time. I look for help often honestly. I've gone to rehab, I've called support lines. I take my meds. Nothing is changing. I don't have insurance so finding out why I feel like I can't breathe in deep would be tricky so I just am lost RE: I'm depressed. - wiz - Oct 3, 2021 (Oct 3, 2021 06:47 AM)Livewire Wrote: I don't know where to start. Honestly I can handle the mental side, but my body doesn't feel good and it's making me not want to move around a lot. I bring water every where because I feel like puking a lot. Before my hospital stay I puked every day and I was puking blood too, but I'm drinking again so my stomach is very raw (Oct 3, 2021 06:47 AM)Grammar Rays Wrote: Have you spoken to someone that focuses on mental health? Yeah i deal with bipolar and depression, and i know a few who do, and going to the doctors and saying i want to kill myself isnt probably the last thing you want to do, unless he lives outside of the US, our mental health help is terrible here, but i'd rather him do that then to actually end his own life. |
