Has anyone else been looking into SunContract (SNC) lately? From what I'm seeing and reading it looks very promising and extremely interesting. Also as of 7 days ago, SunContract now has a foothold in the real world after Radeče becomes the first Energy Self-Sufficient Town Centre in Slovenia with Blockchain Energy Market.

Why can't this marketplace of energy be established on the Lightning Network? Their whitepaper makes it seems like you're investing in "Renewable energy" and they show us all types of graphs on renewable energy... That seems deceptive to some extent to me, because they're just trying to establish an international marketplace for Renewable Energy.

I don't see the need for this. It seems like it could just be an App built on the Lightning Network, using Bitcoin.

The guy looks sleezy as hell.

Also, for verifiability purposes and due dilligence, I can't find that CNBC anywhere legitimate other than SunContract facebook and youtube channels. Can you please link it from CNBC or another verifiable source? I'm getting the vibe that they just fraudulently put CNBC logo on their own interview.

Lmao exactly. A third of the whitepaper displays how Renewable Energy is a growing industry. They're trying to create a marketplace for that, but I don't see why they need to operate on their token and own blockchain. It could be a platform that's built on the Lightning Network, using Bitcoin. Simple and favorable.

Both parties (sellers/buyers) would be better off with a marketplace built on Bitcoin. A lot of these Cryptos are BS; a couple of charts easily fools naive self-proclaimed investors.

I Googled the title of the video because I didn't notice that until after either. The only credible source for it I could find was an article on Medium:

Also after a quick Google search, the reporter Carlo Cerutti does in fact work for CNBC.

No worries, good that you're looking :)

I will say that what you linked is something SunContract themselves post, so make sure to read it all with a grain of salt.
