We’ve seen with the Mars One project that a lot of people wanted to go live on Mars.
Is that something you would do if it was offered to you?

Probably not. I'd rather live in a remote area here on Earth than on Mars. What would there even be to do up there? I feel like the accommodations wouldn't be as nice as the sci-fi movies, at least with these first colonizing missions. I'm also thinking the first mission will also have some high risk to it.

Yeah I don't think it would be worth it. I'd rather get paid a bunch of money to stay in one of those research facilities out in the Antarctic over the winter or something. At least I'm still on the Earth.

It'll probably be like buying a new tech product, it has potential to become awesome, but if you'll be one of the first to buy it you'll probably have only 1 or 2 functions available while if you wait a year you'll have tons.
I wouldn't want to be first on Mars, I'd probably go there after a decade or so when I know there are jobs and stuff to do and that it's alright to live there

I would visit Mars but I don't think I would live on it. I feel that there will be too many complications that would go into living on Mars, for example, everything would have to be built for Mars and evolution would have to play a big part on if we can stand outside without any complications.

I don’t see what the advantages are of going there are. Unless you’re a space fanatic.

I suppose it's all just curiosity and research.
I imagine most people want to go because they're curious.
