The Next Layer 1 Hiding in Plain Sight - Echoz - Nov 7, 2021

$KDA has the tech, scalable and continues the PoW consensus while featuring extremely cheap gas fees even cheaper than SOL. A lot of hype is building up for it right now as it's already up 250%+ in the past 7 days alone.

At the time of writing this, KDA is #57 on CMC

DYOR this is not investment advice, but more of a heads up.. I have shifted some bags into KDA. Let's get rich together.

RE: The Next Layer 1 Hiding in Plain Sight - SIM-2470866 - Nov 7, 2021

Hopped on it when it was at $2.1
One of my best investments so far

RE: The Next Layer 1 Hiding in Plain Sight - Redwall - Nov 7, 2021

Should’ve copped some when it was at $1 back in September

RE: The Next Layer 1 Hiding in Plain Sight - SIM-3336514 - Nov 7, 2021

i think it will reach to 40$ -50$ zones like dot & luna .

RE: The Next Layer 1 Hiding in Plain Sight - Gossel - Nov 7, 2021

Bought some around @2,1, mentioned KDA a few weeks ago in a Low Gems topic :)

Why is the Apple logo there?
Why is the Microsoft logo there?
Why is the Disney logo there?

Why use proof of work?
Quote:Regulation: In the eyes of certain financial regulators, proof of work miners are not considered money transmitters, making a probabilistic PoW mining system safer from a US regulatory perspective than a system with more “finality” like PoS.

So essentially you're not Proof of Work because of current taxes and regulations (which constantly change by the way).
What kind of argument is that? Just admit you don't have the technical know-how regarding the inner workings of PoS.

Quote:The total supply is fixed at 1 billion tokens to be mined over 120 years

Who says taxes will still be "difficult" 120 years from now?
Yeah, no. I don't see this entering the top 20 anytime soon with nonsense arguments like that. Aren't you supposed to HODL your cryptocurrencies (big wink here that it's meant to be sold ASAP)?

https://quickstart.chainweb.com/ - "This site is using the development build of React", I LOL'd.
https://explorer.chainweb.com/about.php - Nice website
https://kadena.io/docs/chainweb-v15.pdf - A link their Github repository of Chainweb points to. I LOL'd.
https://github.com/kadena-io/pact-lang-api/blob/master/load.js - Nice, so old and crusty code that simply looking at it hurts my eyes. It's like they never heard of Modern JavaScript. Why should I trust them to write low-level code any better? Oh, I shouldn't.
https://github.com/kadena-io/kadenaswap/tree/master/frontend/src - Kadenaswap code is a complete mess and very unstructured for being a React application.
https://github.com/kadena-io/kadenaswap/blob/master/frontend/src/containers/SwapContainer.js#L37-L38 - I LOL'd, again.
https://github.com/kadena-io/kadenaswap/blob/master/frontend/src/containers/WrapContainer.js#L21 - Destructuring, destructuring, please, destructuring!
https://github.com/kadena-io/chainweb.js/blob/main/src/chainweb.js#L66 - I LOL'd.

Honestly I could go on with the links, but the harder I look the more broken links and weird things I keep finding, and I'm just browsing their website and GitHub repositories.
Kadena, get your house in order, please. Review some of your code, add code documentation and fix your broken links!

Quote:Pact is the most powerful smart contract language available for writing applications directly on the blockchain.

It's essentially the only choice you have.. Of course it will be the best 'language' on your blockchain if there's only one choice. This is about as useless as saying that water is wet.

This tech is essentially Bitcoin but then with added features such as oracles, improved throughput but not even close to the levels of ETH or EGLD.
I'm sorry but they have a lot of things left to fix before I will look into this or take it seriously, like for example their Proof of Work model. Until then, I guess this is just another nice high-risk coin with a very unclear and probably useless future, just like DAR, only to be used for turning a quick profit.

I guess this is fine for those among you who are interested in making FIAT money. But looking at it today, this is definitely not the next anything. Mining it will probably be profitable for quite some time, when you dump your mined coins for FIAT.

Didn't you invest in DAR just yesterday?

Yes, and as stated in the post you quoted: I'd rather mine this one than buy it and DAR is only for a turning a quick profit (if at all). Nothing more, nothing less. DAR is, by all intents and purposes, worthless and useless to me. Both DAR and this technology are, for me, not useful for long term hodling.

I appreciate your DD and thoughts. With this current market, it's all speculation anyway. Your only way you should be looking at projects is how to make good returns into ETH. It will remain and continue.

Hell, if you chose to mine KDA, you could then profit swap into ETH and stake ETH if you chose to. After all, I plan to accumulate as much ETH as I possibly can for years to come especially if no new coins eventually enter market cycle or more are burned than new. If ETH becomes deflationary, the value will rise along with FOMO. We will see how this plays out post ETH 2 launch (whenever the hell that finally happens). But I truly believe if you can short term make some decent gains, even 2x, taking those profits into your safest hedge on the future of blockchains and web3 is what you should do.

As for Kadena, I'm not concerned about the links and such not working. Things move quickly.
