How do you like your steak? - Livewire - Nov 27, 2021 I love my steak medium rare, but every place I go cooks it to medium or medium well when I ask, so I started asking for it rare when I order. RE: How do you like your steak? - bk randy - Nov 27, 2021 I like mine medium rare too, the place I like the most is notorious for undercooking them xD Legit got my steak n it was barely warm once lol, it's the bomb when they get it right though, and their sides are amazing. RE: How do you like your steak? - Omniscient - Nov 27, 2021 Are you visiting reputable steak houses? And are you sure you know what Med-Rare is? I'm a med-rare guy except if I'm at someplace iffy then I just ask for medium. Usually this is a breakfast situation for me (steak and eggs) as I tend not to go to crappy places and order steak. Example is Chili's, Outback, TGI's, Red Lobster, or some other chain restaurant. I got an amazing steak place close to my house that does a great job. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g45981-d1218594-Reviews-Mrkt-North_Las_Vegas_Nevada.html RE: How do you like your steak? - Livewire - Nov 27, 2021 (Nov 27, 2021 09:05 PM)Omniscient Wrote: Are you visiting reputable steak houses? And are you sure you know what Med-Rare is? I've actually been a cook in many restaurants and have had to cook steak per temp. I realize most low end places like sports bars and what not will almost always mess it up. Don't even get me started about Chinese restaurants. Unfortunately, high end restaurants aren't in my budget at the moment. RE: How do you like your steak? - Orb - Nov 27, 2021 The only time I’ll order steak is when I’m at a reputable steak house. Medium-rare is my go to. RE: How do you like your steak? - Omniscient - Nov 28, 2021 (Nov 27, 2021 09:08 PM)Livewire Wrote: Unfortunately, high end restaurants aren't in my budget at the moment. Then hit the grocery store and make them yourself. Watch for sales. You can get some good deals at the right moment. RE: How do you like your steak? - swirlee - Nov 28, 2021 Well done 😎 I ain’t no bloodsucking dracula RE: How do you like your steak? - Melted - Nov 28, 2021 I definitely prefer medium rare, well done is way too tough & rare is (usually) too raw for my liking. I have good steakhouses near me, and they always cook it just right when I ask for medium rare 👍 RE: How do you like your steak? - MavenGradle - Nov 28, 2021 I used to like them rare, but then I got seriously ill a couple of times and have since always liked them medium rare just to be on the safe side. Maybe I was just unlucky. Either way, great steak is so hard to find. Just had one medium rare today and it was very tender. The tenderness is what makes or breaks a steak in my opinion. I really dislike the taste of rubber in my mouth. RE: How do you like your steak? - 7777777 - Nov 28, 2021 Im not a fan of steak, tbh I dont really get the hype about it. Certainly wont be eating steak out when you can easily make it from home and not be raped financially. Rare is nice but If you like it well done you probably get less food borne parasites so I cant hate on that. RE: How do you like your steak? - cybr - Nov 28, 2021 medium rare Any other answer is wrong RE: How do you like your steak? - Telstra - Nov 28, 2021 I like my steak wagyu and medium rare RE: How do you like your steak? - 7777777 - Nov 28, 2021 (Nov 28, 2021 05:58 PM)Telstra Wrote: I like my steak wagyu and medium rare Damn you must be rich how much is a wagyu??
