Securing user details for ecommerce... Advice? - Kyle17 - Dec 4, 2021 So I'm setting up a simple ecommerce website. I'm collecting user's names, emails & shipping/billing adresses. Billing handled by payment providers. Any advice on storing sensitive user information? I'm using simple MariaDB, and PHP/Angular for my website. All coded myself. Using PDO for PHP is good for cleaning most user-input automatically, so I've heard. This is my first "serious" attempt. Anyone have some general advice for preventing scraping, and other "simple" attacks. eg. seperate R/W and R/O MySQL accounts, or something along those lines. Thanks! |
