Any opinions on Polkadot ($DOT)? - PR1V473 - Dec 10, 2021
Hello, I am holding a very large bag of DOTs and avg buy in is close to today's lowest which is 25$ish. No, I am not writing this thread to get someone to justify to me if I should HODL or sell... Rather than to see what people think of the technology behind it.
Where do you see the Polkadot network?
Where do you see the $DOT coin in the next bullrun?
Do you think it can be someday top 5 crypto?

It's bleeding against ETH. If your position in it relative to your ETH/BTC holdings is small, I'd just hold. If that's not the case, you will get rekt in a bear market, just saying.

Polkadot is still just an idea, it's been tested/proven with kusama although I wouldn't be surprised if we see $15 or even $10 per DOT.
What makes polkadot valuable today is the idea of interoperability (multi-chain network) it's a layer 0 blockchain. Today we have ethereum, cardano and solana which are all layer 1 blockchains competing with each other to become the next "ethereum killer". Instead, polkadot is creating a fully decentralized and secured ecosystem by allowing these layer 1 blockchains to become parachains and bridge together as one.

I like it, I am invested myself in this coin too, and to be honest, I got in quite late, but the fact that I can get 10% APY return pr. year on it, through staking, is making it all worth it, because I am going for the passive bag.

That's 11-13 DOTs free per month. Selling % of DOT when it reaches 150-160$ is my plan, be it in 2 or 3 years. I hope it is in 3 years, that's 432 DOTs for just holding bonus which equivalent to 150$ is 64,800$. When the entire ecosystem is live and things are moving from Kusama to Polkadot slowly it is a big possibility to reach 3X from it's previous ATH when the next big bullrun happens.
What makes it different from Cardano and other promise coins is that it actually delivers and doesn't re-schedule things on a daily basis.
I will update this thread when DOT reaches 150$.

I believe the minimum is 25 now, but I started out with 10 when it was!

Been using it for 1 year soon and it has been pretty amazing so far. Only problem is when you want to send BTC, minimum fee is $25 lol.
Other than that, I am getting 10% on DOT & USDC, have their visa card, and also getting airdrops minimum every 25th day. 4 out of 5 stars from me! :)
Support can also be a bit slow about answering, but they have gotten better.
