Ravencoin - Interesting coin #1 - SIM-3749878 - Dec 11, 2021 FYI: I have invested in Ravencoin. This is not financial advice. I've never created a thread where I make a good case for an investment so this will be my first try. Links: Quote:Coinmarketcap: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ravencoin/ Important info: Quote:Pre-mine: No My prediction: When I created this thread Ravencoin was worth $0.08898 per coin. I confidently predict that Ravencoin will hit $0.11 before the year is over and I also predict that the price will steadily increase for the entirety of 2022. There is also a halving happening in January 2022 which could boost the price. Why: I claim that Ravencoin is normally worth ~$0.1-0.15. The recent bear-market has reduced the price over 25% and I believe that when the market is restored somewhat then the price of Ravencoin will go back up to over $0.1 without any action. I also think the price will increase a bit more after the halving which is in about a month. I also think that Ravencoin is such a good project that it will grow naturally. Also: Ravencoin is not fully supported by some exchanges yet, like Crypto.com. Maybe it will grow a little more when announcements are made that Ravencoin is now available. Some of Ravencoins adoptions: 16/04/2021 STO Lotus Energy Community-owned clean energy generator, energy transfer and energy storage network Uses Ravencoin for their STO 30/04/2021 STO Blockchain Realtor Realtor of tokenized Real Estate. Uses Ravencoin to tokenize real estate 11/05/2021 STO B.A.F.E. Group Builds Modular homes from shipping containers. Uses Ravencoin for their STO 06/06/2021 STO American Films, Inc Will provide services to raise equity for film projects and copyrights/IP protection. Will utilize Ravencoin for their services Another adoption: https://perper.net (Stablecoin 1:1 Euro), built on Ravencoin blockchain. In conclusion: This thread fukcing sucked, but I have bought some Ravencoin and I am looking forward to go back to this thread and read it in a month and then the month after that and the month after that. What do you think about Ravencoin? * "Interesting coin #1" does not mean that this coin is number 1 of anything particular. However, when I find another coin that I want to create a thread about then that will be my interesting coin #2. And the one after that #3. RE: Ravencoin - Interesting coin #1 - noname12345 - Dec 11, 2021 i think right now what's important is the question " is the bear market here or are we still in a bull run? " RE: Ravencoin - Interesting coin #1 - Blockonome - Dec 12, 2021 I had a look at this one, the only thing that I do not like, is that they have been hacked in June of 2020. That is what deterred me to not invest. RE: Ravencoin - Interesting coin #1 - Lindros - Dec 12, 2021 I have not been buying any but I mine it with a leftover RX570 so I own some. I don't plan to ever sell it. RE: Ravencoin - Interesting coin #1 - Proxied - Dec 12, 2021 Am currently writing a project related to Ravencoin. Once ETH v2 is fully operational, Ravencoin is the next best thing for mining rewards. But with the halving happening, I'm paying close attention regarding mining rewards. RE: Ravencoin - Interesting coin #1 - T0Bi - Dec 12, 2021 It's just another Bitcoin fork (fork as in code fork, not chain fork) with changed parameters. Litecoin (and others) did the same thing. Fork bitcoin code, change a few things and pretend you invented something new. They might've started without a pre-mine or ICO, but let's be honest, who do you think were the first people to mine it? As it's basically a copy of Bitcoin with a faster blocktime, different issuance and a different mining algorithm. They tried creating/using an ASIC resistant mining algorithm and failed. They're neither more decentralized (2 pools have > 50% hashrate) nor more secure than Bitcoin (or Litecoin, or other forks). This begs the question, why even use it? It's cheap to use because no one really uses it. (source) It doesn't bring anything new to the table. TL;DR: Ravencoin completely useless. RE: Ravencoin - Interesting coin #1 - Echoz - Dec 12, 2021 I actually like RVN, but there's not much going on at the moment on it. I got in heavy right before eip 1559 for a pitty swing and it happened. Was very happy. I believe it's at a good price in the .09 range. I wouldn't load up, but DCA into it. I believe it will become a better chain as well as increase in price as the tokens are released much quicker than BTC. Mind you, I also like the fully diluted market cap and where it's at at the moment. It's actually almost too indicative of how cheap it truly is. I hold some on my cold storage wallet. The only issue I see with RVN is that if BTC actually has smart contracts in the form or fashion of what we expect, then I don't know how populated RVN's ecosystem will be. But let's see! Better to buy now and wait. RE: Ravencoin - Interesting coin #1 - Recon12345 - Dec 13, 2021 Tbh I don't see potential in this coin except for it's mining attractiveness which it's true if lots of people start investing in mining alone and if it's traded it might be enough but idk long term, it doesn't look like anything special. Just another mediocre crypto, tbh so many projects come out doing nothing just because it's a bull run. People buy anything in a bull run so idk nothing to make me want to invest in the long run at least not now. Way better potential projects out there but the mining part alone might be enough. Looks too risky for me. RE: Ravencoin - Interesting coin #1 - G Eazy - Dec 17, 2021 I just bought $1000 in RVN coin @0.08. So let's see what happens with this coin taking a chance on it. RE: Ravencoin - Interesting coin #1 - SIM-3749878 - Dec 24, 2021 About a 20% increase since 7 days back. Hoping for $0.11 before new year. ![]() (Dec 17, 2021 11:42 AM)G Eazy Wrote: I just bought $1000 in RVN coin @0.08. RE: Ravencoin - Interesting coin #1 - Snapple Tea - Dec 25, 2021 I can see Ethereum miners migrating to Ravencoin over the next year. RE: Ravencoin - Interesting coin #1 - xBins - Dec 27, 2021 Something promising for me. For me, mining coin more interesting rather than HOLD. RE: Ravencoin - Interesting coin #1 - SIM-3749878 - Dec 27, 2021 ![]() Yay, keep going RVN! Should I wait until that happens or just cashout now at 0.132? |
