The downfall of SOL - SIM-5049184 - Dec 13, 2021

If you’ve been keeping up with the recent events you’d probably have heard the events transpiring around SOL. The network got hit fairly hard after a series of comments made by the developer stating something along the lines of “It doesn’t matter if the network is down”

Coin has dropped almost 40-50% from what it was in early november.

SOL’s biggest shill, “Sam the Bank Man”, otherwise known as the CEO of FTX stated that sacrificing native composability is too big of a cost. Almost like this problem is solved by a functioning network cough radix cough

What’s your outlook on this coin? I unfortunately dumped mine as I can’t see myself supporting this platform after this string of events.

Think Piers needs a talk with Sam lol. Babylon will be the event that pushes mass adoption I think, it's just a waiting game for holders of XRD :)

Could see a bear market before we see some serious price appreciation though.

SOL got halted again today. Its the same as when your local bank turns off service for monthy maintenance.

Isn’t the point to not hault service if we are decentralized. Kinda defeats the purpose

Not sure SOL is entirely decentralized? Or is it?

No. The project is severely centralized which is why it's so cheap. If the nodes were decentralized, then it'd be a different story.

This, there should be no reason a node going off takes the entire network off.

I just took a look at the charts and wow this project sure has tanked. When I think of SOL I think of NFT rug pulls.

Sol fair value is 0. It's a hedge fund baby that brought nothing new or innovative to the space.

SOL was always an overhyped shitcoin. Glad it's finally becoming clear to the masses.
