What does this graph mean? - b2plane - Jan 2, 2022 if you're going to hate then feel free to leave this thread right now. im creating this to educate myself lets take for example some random trashcoin ![]() this graph looks way too steady for something to be normal. at first it's dead and steady and then all of a sudden there's a huge pump which is also steady. and then there are a couple of huge drops which quickly rise back up and continue a steady line. this looks really shady to me and i'm gonna stay away from cryptos that have a graph like this. i see a lot of coins do this and was just curious to learn what does it mean when a coin does this. is this a pump, rugpull, pyramid scheme or what? Fixed i think RE: What does this graph mean? - ProSphix - Jan 2, 2022 Hi Bud, By the looks of things this is just a project that has a hugely low amount of trades occurring. If you look on Etherscan searching for that project in particular; you can see trades are happening sometimes hours or even days apart. Resulting in minimal changes to charts. Also working in pairs, so the price of USD will also impact the chart. Big ups and downs can be anything from random price jumps to big sells / buys. If you look at any alt coin majority have these big spikes. Not necessarily a bad project, but is far from being a popular project. RE: What does this graph mean? - Omniscient - Jan 2, 2022 https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/onooks It's ranked 1200ish. Exchanges are really low and so is volume. The actual volume is probably fake a bit. The chart is meaningless when you factor in the volume and market cap. Really to even consider investing into something like this is basically a high risk gamble. https://www.onooks.org/ RE: What does this graph mean? - Vibe - Jan 2, 2022 (Jan 2, 2022 12:52 PM)Omniscient Wrote: https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/onooks Idk if cause in USA but phone number in the website doesn’t dial out |
