Going open source with my project. - Sativa.Squirrel - Jan 3, 2022 https://github.com/Tumblefluff/Vizini_Encryption I'm not sure how many people give a damned about delphi/pascal. Thankfully it's pretty easy to follow and understand. Let me know if you need any clarification on what it's doing. RE: Going open source with my project. - Romeos - Jan 3, 2022 Pascal.... Are we in the 80's or what? RE: Going open source with my project. - Sativa.Squirrel - Jan 3, 2022 (Jan 3, 2022 02:37 PM)Romeos Wrote: Pascal.... Are we in the 80's or what? What did you expect from a retired grey-hat from the days of dial-up? If you wanna convert it to another language, go for it, just let me know how it turns out. What does this have to do with the language's features? Pascal was created in 69/70 and C in 72. Pascal is still actively developed today by Embarcadero. I'll be sticking to 10.3 myself, I don't have Windows 11, nor do I plan to get it anytime soon. While I like to poke fun at Pascal, this isn't what I'd say made me think OP is a boomer. Its how GitHub is being used as a file host rather than a proper source repository. RE: Going open source with my project. - Marcus Lauren - Jan 16, 2022 Moving on with Delphi , Pascal is too old for me. RE: Going open source with my project. - Sativa.Squirrel - Jan 16, 2022 (Jan 16, 2022 08:05 AM)Marcus Lauren Wrote: Moving on with Delphi , Pascal is too old for me. Just because something is older doesn't make it unfit for purpose. Even if sufficient infrastructure existed to support transition, not everyone would opt for an electric vehicle for a WIDE variety of reasons. "Older Technology" is irrelevant and further it's asinine considering there's continued development to this day. If you don't like the language it's in, feel free to translate it, it's not particularly difficult to follow and I'd be happy to answer questions and offer explanations. All I ask is sharing the source if you do.
