Need to make a bitcoin payment as anonymous as possible - giggio - Jan 4, 2022

Hi,
I need to torrent some contents and for that I need a server. I just found a good provider known to ignore dmca and to be privacy oriented (they don't require to verify data, ID and such). But I'm a bit worried that they only accept bitcoins which normally are not that safe. Now, I won't become the next Pirate Bay, so probably I don't even need an high level of anonimity but you know, better safe than sorry.

Anyway since they only accept bitcoins, and since I want to stay as safe as possible, I thought about this strategy:
- Buy a bitcoin voucher (this way my ID won't be directly exposed in any way in the process, even though the platform may collect the paypal info sadly) and land the money on a new bitcoin wallet.
- Send the money to Zcash wallet
- Send the money to a Monero wallet
- Send the money to a new Monero wallet
- Send the money to a new bitcoin wallet (different from the previous, made only for this payment)
- Make the payment

Can I have your opinion on this "strategy"? Is it good, or do you have better idea for better anonimity to suggest me? I would be really glad about hearing your opinion and insight.

How much money we talking? Sums under $1000 are gonna be easier to deal with.

Or, Or, you can use something called coin tumbler and pay a small percentage and let them do the 20 transactions for you. You do know you're asking to basically launder some money in to pay for a hosting of a small torrent server.

You could meet with someone in person, give them cash and have them send you money on a BRAND NEW BITCOIN wallet and then you're good to go. Oh forgot to mention, BRAND NEW BITCOIN wallet on a BURNER SAMSUNG/IOS device.

Sorry, I don't understand if you're serious or joking. Specially on the brand new bitcoin wallet thing. I'm a bit paranoid. If they are tracking you they may check all the transactions you made in order to know your identity, so I don't think creating a new wallet with 0 transaction would be stupid. Of course with different IP and fingerprints that I implied.

I am pretty sure that a Bitcoin wallet does not store any IPs. You buy a burner phone and setup a new wallet and voilla.

Centralized Exchanges is what gets people connected to a wallet. Yes, they can check transactions on the block chain so exchanging cash->new wallet and NEVER using it to send back to a CEX where you have your Facial Recorded (KYC / passport verification) then you will not get caught!

The following is for educational purposes only.

Create a Binance account using an RDP.
Send Coins to Binance account.
trade the btc for monero on Binance
send the monero to the subadress (a disposable recieving address) for your local (software) monero wallet. Exodus Wallet works.

Congrats You now have secret monero coins.

Up to you how to send/transfer after that but your steps are mostly concealed at that point.
Most DNM's use Monero for currency.

For $200 just buy some Bitcoin from someone here. Send it to a one-time Electrum wallet, use Tor or a VPN. Just deal with someone reputable here. And if you just want to swap BTC for BTC then I am sure someone here is willing to do it for 5% or less.

People act like it's super easy to follow the blockchain. It is not unless you are basically using KYC exchange. But it's easy to use DeFi and your own wallets.

A lot of people here can help you minimize your risk of privacy.

Buy btc in person or here on the forums, and let him/her send it directly to the btc adress of the business? Your name is nowhere?

You should use Hush, best privacy coin.

1. Download a wallet and copy down priv keys etc etc. Don't use any type of online based wallet.
2. If you're really concerned about whether or not your ip address will be revealed at all, use BitCoin Core which is a full node wallet (You are a node).
3. Buy some Bitcoin here on HF, and have it sent to your new wallet. Boom you are good.

The only con would be if they decide to attempt to track it, track it back to the guy who sold it to you, and ask for a list of all the individuals they exchanged with. And they go door to door and figure out it was you. Highly unlikely, and it's not like your a top tier criminal so it would also be a huge waste of resources.
