Babymetal Appreciation Thread! - the_chairman - Jan 26, 2022

Is anyone else here a Babymetal fan? I managed to score one of their Mini Gong's.

If you cant tell by my avatar, Moa-Metal is obviously my favourite member.

And if you actually care enough to read this thread, you'll know that me picking Megitsune and Kagerou as my favourite songs is a solid choice. I do have an IG fanpage... if anyone wants it.

Pretty cute idea though.

They're still trending wtf?

Trending in your heart isn't trending in the market 😭

Do you not know how popular they are? They've sold more merch than Kiss 🤣🤣🤣

I saw Babymetal live 4-5 years ago, something like that. It was a great show and honestly it was the band that made it worth it, not so much the singers. They were so tight live and on top of it they played an instrumental that was 20-30 minutes live and I was surprised at how heavy it got at certain points.

The band are sick, did you see the lineup with Leda or Mikio Fujioka? Usually Takayoshi Ohmura and Boh play with them live...

Waaaaaooooooowwwww... My guy... have you not heard their guitarist Takayoshi Ohmura? Guy is a guitar god; teaches classical and blues at MI Japan. Their other guitarist Mikio Fujioka (R.I.P) taught Jazz guitar at MI. Their bass player Boh, one of the most talented players on the planet... just peep this and then tell me my opinion doesnt matter 😂😂😂

Alexi was and still is one of my biggest influences when it comes to guitar and playing metal. RIP.

Alexi was solid. But honestly I'm more of a BFMV fan, partially because they're Welsh like me... but also because I know Jamie IRL and even go to his mother's fish & chip shop on the regular... Kim knows my order when I walk in.

I was a fan of BFMV's second album, really got into that one when it came out. That's pretty awesome, is it good fish and chips too?

Some of the best fish and chips in the area. They do a mean chinese curry aswell. And I usually get a bread roll no butter. (I dont like seafood so its literally curry, chips, bread)

Yeah Bullet go hard. One of my favourite bands of all time. Padge is probably the only guitarist of the era aside from maybe Syn Gates who can score par woth Alexi Laiho.

gates isn't really on the same level as alexi as good as he is

Synyster Gates is one of the most talented and Iconic guitarists ever. His afterlife solo buries almost 90% of Alexi's work... .
