Before we get into this... I want to start this off by saying that this bot doesn't belong to me. I am just very familiar with its functions & think the community can make some use of this, if in the right hands. You can use this bot for many things, scrape members from a group and automatically convert them to a csv file, add scraped members to a group, & send mass messages!

So lets get on with the set up...

First - Download Python ATTENTION: It is very important that you CHECK BOX "Add To PATH" when downloading and installing python

<--> - Download the bot zip file, link below. Extract it to desktop & delete the zip file if it remains.


<--> - Open CMD (command prompt) go to your start menu, type "cmd" in search and press enter.

<--> -  Now type these commands into cmd... "cd desktop" press enter (where the bot folder is located)

<--> - Type this into cmd "cd telegram-scraper-master" and press enter. Then type "dir" press enter.

<--> - The directory of all the files within the bot folder should populate in cmd. Then you want to type "python setup.py -i" press enter, It will then ask you if you want to enable csv merge (y/n) just type "n" and press enter.

<--> - Type "python setup.py -c" press enter. Then it will ask you for api ID.

<--> - To create api ID google "my telegram org auth" or click here Once you get on the website, enter your telegram account phone number for the account that will be adding the members. You can find this right under your user profile name in the Telegram app. Enter confirmation code sent to your Telegram.

<--> - Once you confirm the code you will need to click on "API development tools" You will then need to create new application, just fill out all the necessary fields. It doesn't matter what you name it or anything, just leave the URL option blank.

<--> - After you have finished and created the app you will be brought to app configuration page, from here you will be given the api ID we need & the api_hash we will need. Copy api id

<--> - Open back up cmd and paste the api id and press enter. Next it will ask for hash ID, copy the hash ID on the my telegram app configuration webpage and paste the hash ID into cmd & press enter. Next it will ask you to enter phone number, copy the phone number for the Telegram account you used to create the app on the my Telegram org auth website

<--> - Paste your Telegram phone number into cmd & press enter! The setup requirements and credentials needed to run the bot are now complete! Yay!

<--> - We will now run the scraper, on cmd type "python scraper.py" and press enter. The bot will then attempt to login to your Telegram account, copy the code that is sent to your Telegram. Paste the code into cmd, press enter. The bot is now logged in.

<--> - In cmd Enter the number of the corresponding group you wish to scrape. (make sure you are a member of the group) Once you type the number of the group you want to scrape, press enter.

<--> - The bot will fetch the members from the group and compile them into a .csv file inside the bot folder. We will now use this .csv file to add the members to our group.

<--> - Type "dir" into cmd & press enter. You should see a directory of all the files in the bot folder again, now the file named add2group.py is what we'll be using to add the members.

<--> - In cmd type "python add2group.py members.csv" press enter. It will ask you to choose which group you wish to add the members to, type the corresponding number to the group you want to add the members to and press enter.

BOOM! The bot will now continuously add members to that group, with a few second delay between each.
