Covid question - Luffy-_- - Feb 7, 2022

So my mother tested positive on 27/1/2022 ct value was 22 if i remember right, 2 days later my father had symptoms he didn't do the test since we all quarantined, on 1/2/2022 my sister did the test for school, she's a teacher she tested negative but though something was wrong so on 4/2/2022 she repeated the test with a relative and they both tested positive, her ct value was 31 and my relative had a ct value of 23 so he joined us on quarantine.
All this time a had no symptoms today i had to make the test to see if i could get back to work tommorow, i tested neg, but at the moment and for the first time during this quaratine i have a fever 8.1 and felt a little bit tired.
So i'm actually lost, is my test wrong ? should i stay tommorow at home and see how i feel ? and maybe repeat the test or what ?

False positives and negatives are extremely common with COVID.
If you've been exposed to COVID and you're feeling any symptoms, you should stay home.

Hi,

If it was an auto test, i suggest you to wait tomorrow and do it again.

If its PCR test, it has more chance to be right.

In any cases if you feel sick avoid going out.

If you get tested always ask for both tests. Sounds like you have been exposed to Covid so yes absolute stay home.

Sounds like Covid, especially how contagious it is and the fact that you had a fever.

Would definitely get a PCR test, but my work has always told us to stay home if we are feeling sick. But you might not being able to work from home and need to be on site.

This thread is old but for anyone reading: If you have a fever, you stay home. It's a simple as that. You're sick, so you should contact a doctor. Doesn't matter if it's COVID or the flu, you don't go to work if you're sick unless absolutely required.. This should speak for itself.
