New Zealand authorities blast out Barry Manilow songs at mandate protestors - The Pact - Feb 14, 2022
New Zealand Parliament tried to get rid of public health measure vaccine and mask mandate protestors by blasting out annoying songs.

I live in New Zealand and find this hilarious. Gets annoying seeing everyone protesting but I kinda understand why they're doing it.

Barry Manilow, while not the greatest singer and is quite sleepytime crooner, is a great songwriter. So this is really a diss to Barry. Also, what is the point of this, to lull them to sleep or make them even more irate and burn everything to the ground? What's the angle?
How I wish this was NYC. Somebody would show up with a boombox and probably play Freeez's AEIOU and a breakdance battle would happen, lol.

That did happen. The protestors played "We're Not Gonna Take It" by Twisted Sister.
