Clientside One-time Pad Generator - MiguelSanchez - Mar 24, 2022 I'm making a onetime pad chat program where both parties post a hash of their key file, if both keys are a match then a chat stream is started. So that the chat can remain asynchronous, user one encrypts their bytestream from the beginning of the key and decrypts from the middle. User two decrypts from the beginning of the key and encrypts from the middle. It's not done yet but I have this key generator from recursive SHA256 (edit: I accidentally typed SHA1, I know it's no longer considered secure) hashes, where a digest is created from the previous hash plus and a salt created from a password and/or integer, as well as your window resolution. Everything is computed client-side and I never get to see your key, but if you want extra security I've included the source so you can run it offline in your own environment. https://trogramming.com/blog/2022/03/24/cryptographic-key-generator/ |
