Having an issue trying to install OpenBullet on Linux distro - ThinWhiteDuke - Apr 11, 2022

Trying to install OpenBullet on Linux distro it's a windows program so need to install with wine:

wine Openbullet/OpenBullet.exe

when I run this I get error:
0009:err:mscoree:CLRRuntimeInfo_GetRuntimeHost Wine Mono is not installed

So I try:
sudo apt install Wine Mono
and I get result:

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package Wine
E: Unable to locate package Mono

Tried sudo apt-get update
But still get the same result

Package names are case sensitive, to install mono you either let wine do the installation itself, or you install it manually. Some distributions like archlinux seems to have wine-mono package in their repos though...

Code
sudo apt install wine

Thanks for your reply, I’ll try to manually install mono and let you know what happens 😀

I've spent too much time trying to fix this that I'll probably just install a VM install a windows iso file and do it that way
