Is golang safe for botnet development - ribo639 - Apr 14, 2022 I am building a p2p botnet. I have coded it in golang. Golang is managed by google and It's process is not so transparent Google just took down a botnet called Glupteba. Should I stop using golang? If so, which programming language would be best for botnet development? RE: Is golang safe for botnet development - Syfas - Apr 14, 2022 The language is fine, great in size, but it works. Google didn't affect the code, they just took down accounts, documents, Google stuff, and it's all stored on the blockchain so it can easily come back. RE: Is golang safe for botnet development - SIM-5183822 - Apr 14, 2022 The programming language is just that a language and google among other companies have took to finding flaws in software this just happened to be using golang. That being said many various forms of software use golang, for example they took code from the current marai IOT botnet for scanning and another known botnet for various other methods. The question should be are they starting to target more blackhat activities online at a wide scale then the answer would be yes not just googles security team but many others conduct their own whitehat vs blackhat concepts if i am wording this correctly. English is still not my good point i say that more and more people are going after so called bad people online so any language or software must be changed often this happens. its how do you say playing wak a mole in a big pond of players?? |
