Whats the best way to make an animated thread design? - zogra - May 2, 2022

In your opinion is it better to make the base design in Photoshop then import the .psd in After Effects with the layers or do everything from scratch in After Effects? I'm asking this because some effects when I import my .psd in ae get messed up and also for example text boxes don't take up the space of the text itself but the space of the whole composition also anchor points are all centered relative to the composition no matter where the elements are etc...

Any advice would be very helpful thanks in advance.

You can use Illustrator (vector files) and import it on AE, much manageable and quality doesn't change.

There is an easy fix for this. If you import your PSD in a composition make sure you have the "Continuously Rasterize" enabled.
