Don't know how to find freelance work - cyberpunk26 - May 5, 2022
I live in a lousy city where there is no IT companies arround at all. My best chance of making money is working as a freelancer. A senior IT working friend who saw me working told me i am overqualified for many jobs. How do if find freelance work? I'm in cybersecurity for 2 years now

Having a job that you're overqualified for is better than not having a job. Most IT centered jobs can be remote, have you tried applying outside of your city?

There are many platforms on the Internet thanks to which freelancers can get orders, especially in the IT industry. Let useme.com be a good example (on this page there are many remote job offers, unfortunately it is adapted to the European market, but I think you will find many counterparts on the web).

Make it your job to market yourself and open up those leads. Hit anything pertaining to cybersecurity and make a new for yourself. No one has done it in silence.
